Synopsis

NOTE: While this is the first issue of Whiz Comics, the series actually begins its numbering at #2, followed by two issues labeled as #3, then correcting itself with the fourth issue labeled as #4.  A collection of comics and stories including --  "Introducing Captain Marvel" , featuring Captain Marvel :  The young Billy Batson is taken by a mysterious stranger to meet an ancient wizard named Shazam, who bestows upon him the powers of Captain Marvel.  Billy then uses these powers to thwart the plans of someone calling himself the Phantom Scientist. --  "Ibis Lives Again!" , featuring Ibis the Invincible :   From the Egyptian wing of a famous American museum, young Prince Amentep rises from the dead as prophesied, and, with the help of the Ibistick, begins helping people in need. He then boards a ship, embarking on a search for the Princess Taia. " --  "The Coming of Spy Smasher" , featuring Spy Smasher :   Spy Smasher goes on the trail to capture the Mask, who is after designs of the new model of naval mine layers from a safe in Admiral Corby's home. PLUS :  The Golden Arrow, Scoop Smith, Lance O'Casey, and Dan Dare!!
